In today's children's room you won't find them anymore, but in the National Tin Figures Museum all the more. The museum has a collection of up to 125.000 model figures. And there are so many different figures among them that you keep looking!

Battle of Waterloo

Tin soldiers march all day long on marching machines and beautifully decorated figures show off as real works of art in the museum's permanent exhibition. In the historical dioramas of mathematics teacher Dr. W.G.L. Wieringa tin figures depict special moments from European and national history, such as the Battle of Waterloo. On the basis of these dioramas he even once gave a history lesson to Princess Beatrix!
