Stand-up for me is: to fillet current events with sharpness and humor or bring strong anecdotes. Here, the opposite happens. Instead of comedy, it's all about burning down the audience - or "roasting," as Mino calls it. Upon entering, you are even judged and strategically placed at the front or back, purely so they can score more easily
What happens next has nothing to do with humor. Guests are publicly humiliated without any opportunity to defend themselves. Young women get sexist remarks thrown at them, people with a size more are mocked for their appearance. It is crude, cheap and downright disgusting
The gentlemen - especially Mino - do not have strong material themselves. His jokes strike dead, the audience does not laugh, and then he complains that he feels a "crematorium atmosphere." Perhaps because he simply isn't funny? And then, apparently, only one trick remains: tear others down to save the show
This has nothing to do with comedy. One star is actually too many

In plaats van comedy draait alles om het afbranden van het publiek — of “roasten”, zoals Mino het noemt. Bij binnenkomst word je zelfs beoordeeld en strategisch voor- of achteraan geplaatst, puur zodat zij makkelijker kunnen scoren.
Wat er vervolgens gebeurt, heeft niets met humor te maken. Gasten worden publiekelijk vernederd zonder enige mogelijkheid om zich te verdedigen. Jonge vrouwen krijgen seksistische opmerkingen naar hun hoofd, mensen met een maatje meer worden bespot om hun uiterlijk. Het is grof, goedkoop en ronduit walgelijk.
De heren — vooral Mino — hebben zelf geen sterk materiaal. Zijn grappen slaan dood, het publiek lacht niet, en vervolgens klaagt hij dat hij een “crematoriumsfeer” voelt. Misschien omdat hij simpelweg niet grappig is? En dan rest blijkbaar nog maar één truc: anderen afkraken om de show te redden.
Dit heeft niets met comedy te maken. Eén ster is eigenlijk nog teveel
